It was great!
We have been teaching Rose, a friend of Anselmo for the past few weeks. When she isn't working. She is hilarious and a happy person. We weren't sure how interested she was, but when she prayed it was very sweet and sincere. She came to church for the first time yesterday and loved it! She said she felt happier than usual, and for sure would come again. She also brought along a friend of hers :)
We have been finding a lot of new people to teach and it was awesome seeing the few people who were receptive really listen to our message.
One of the best moments of the week was being led by the spirit to knock on doors on one street and finding our friend Jane. We have been teaching Jane whose mom was a member but died a while ago. She is one of the sweetest people and really has a desire to know what path she should take in her life. We are actually teaching her again later today. So I am excited. Updates to come.
One of the hardest moments of the week was one gloomy day when we received no after no... and when our friend who has been learning about the church said she would be moving.
Lara is 9 and wants to be baptized. Her mom is returning to church as well. We are teaching her and her cousin Beatrice together. It is so awesome to hear them explain and bear their sweet pure testimonies. Children are the best. One thing we saw this week was when you truly listen to the spirit, and let it guide you in everything you are guided to miracles. I love this gospel.
