This week was good and I am helping Sister Matig-a get accustomed to everything about mission life :) She arrived with about 18 other American Elders, one who is Elder Satteson from Saratoga Springs. Turns out he knows some of the Jeppson crew and worked with Ethan my cousin. Cool Stuff. He is in the ward that meets right after ours on Sunday.
This week decided to have summer weather. Back to non-stop sweating :)
We had some awesome finding experiences this week that included a woman named Alice. We started covering and she said, "Do you want to come in?" and of course, we said yes! She is super sweet and said she is needing to follow the gospel of Jesus and get her life back on track and such. We had such a neat lesson with her and she was so happy and gracious to receive the Book of Mormon. We also contacted a family: a Grandpa and some of his Grandkids. It was the cutest thing because the Grandsons of 14, 10, and 6 years old were excited to talk to us asking what Portuguese words are in English and Tagalog. The 10 year old was super interested in the Book of Mormon and they are excited for us to return. The Lord truly puts amazing people in our path.
Amo Voces e boa semana!!
